Clearing your old used clothes was a boring activity. Unless someone knocks down your door asking for it or your mother sits on your head to do it. But What if you get paid for your old clothes ?? Interesting right ?? Now you can sell your old clothes online, make some cash and fill your wardrobe with new ones. A way of frugal living.
I was not a fan of making money on used clothes. I would rather donate to orphanages, who make the best use of it. Because I secretly believe in the saying ” The more you give, the more you get “. But there are a few clothes like your party wear, designer sarees, lehenga which you won’t donate. And I found the best way is to make cash of it and invest in my new wardrobe collection.
For parents who have lots of kids’ clothing that cannot be donated can sell it online. Nowadays, kids grow fast and their clothes are hardly used. Kids’ clothing is at a higher cost than our normal adult clothing.
This trend of selling old clothes is picking up in India, there are only a few legitimate sites which offers these service accessible.
Before you revamp your wardrobe, separate the clothes that you want to donate and the ones to put on sale. Because donating your designer clothes may not find a good fit for others. So, take some time and segregate the clothes you want to put for sale.
Wash the clothes or give for a dry clean before you take a picture of it and upload it on the sites. I would recommend you to make a list that describes the clothing style, brand, size, and color, that would be easy for you to list on.
