How We Make Money

Why This Page Exists

You’ll notice links to banks, brokers, and financial products throughout this site — on our credit card comparisons, our demat account guide, our tool pages, and elsewhere. I want to be upfront about how those work and how this site actually makes money.

How I Make Money

When you click certain links on this site and go on to open an account, apply for a card, or complete a similar action, the company on the other end sometimes pays me a small commission. This is called affiliate marketing, and it’s a completely standard way independent finance sites — including much bigger ones — support themselves without charging readers directly.

A few things worth knowing about how this actually works here:

  • You never pay more by using our links. The commission comes from the company, not from you, and it doesn’t change the price or terms you get.
  • Every free tool on this site — the EMI calculator, GST invoice generator, FD and RD calculators, and the rest — is genuinely free to use, with or without ever clicking an affiliate link.
  • Not every product or company mentioned on this site pays us anything. Plenty of recommendations here exist purely because they’re useful, with no financial relationship behind them at all.

Does This Affect What We Recommend?

No product review, comparison, or ranking on this site is written to favor a paying partner over a better option for you. If a bank stops being competitive, or a better alternative comes along, that’s what gets recommended — regardless of whether it pays a commission. If you ever think a recommendation looks more promotional than honest, I’d genuinely like to hear about it — you can reach out through the contact page.

Why I Built This Site This Way

Personal finance content that quietly pushes whatever pays the most, without telling you, is exactly the kind of thing that makes people distrust financial advice in the first place. I’d rather be upfront about the business model than pretend this site runs on goodwill alone — both because it’s the honest thing to do, and because I think readers can tell the difference between a site that’s transparent about this and one that isn’t.
